Laboratory Services Supervisor
About The Position
Vista Specialty Hospital Laboratory Supervisor Summary: Assist with the supervision and coordination of staff and activities responsible for monitoring laboratory testing performed including implementation and use of point-of-care devices and tests. Monitors and evaluates the quality of POCT processes to ensure accurate, reliable and prompt results can be used in clinical decision-making by non-laboratory staff. Ensures regulatory and accreditation requirements are satisfied. Provides subject-matter services for POCT activities to a diverse client base, including hospital locations and nursing units to ensure best practice standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Medical Technology or related degree, required.
- Clinical Laboratory Technologist, AMT/ASCP required.
- Minimum of six (6) years of pertinent clinical laboratory experience, required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
