About The Position

Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Laboratory Processor to join our team! This role involves obtaining and processing doctors’ orders, and data entry. The Laboratory Processor will process incoming samples, ensuring proper patient identification and labeling, and follow hospital policies and procedures for transporting/delivering samples to the laboratory. This position also requires providing good customer service via phone, to patients, doctors, and other medical staff, and the ability to work well under pressure. The role includes performing CLIA waived moderate testing.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or higher.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Phlebotomy course or phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Obtain, process doctors’ orders, and data entry.
• Process incoming samples ensuring proper patient identification and labeling.
• Follow hospital policies and procedures for transporting/delivering of samples to laboratory.
• Provide good customer service on the phone, patients, doctors and other medical staff.
• Work well under pressure
• Perform CLIA waived moderate testing.
