Director | Laboratory, Full-Time (Benefit Eligible)
About The Position
We are looking for a Laboratory Director to lead our full service clinical laboratory. This role involves overseeing inpatient and outpatient lab functions, performing project/service research, and developing goals to ensure the highest possible level of patient and referring physician satisfaction. The Director will also develop a strategic plan to meet community needs and grow the service line, oversee the coordination of test processing across all entities of Memorial Health, create innovative staffing models, and coordinate the clinical training of technical college students in the laboratory.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Medical Technology with two (2) years experience in laboratory management and infection control, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Medical Technologist (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certification.
