About The Position

The Laboratory Coordinator directs and coordinates workers performing chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests used to support diagnosis and treatment. The role oversees testing in microbiology, chemistry, histology, hematology, immunohematology, and serology at Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of HCA Healthcare.

Requirements

• Hold a state Medical Lab Technician (MLT-State) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) qualification.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a technologist.
• Hold technologist certification as defined by GDHR.

• Previous laboratory supervisory experience.
