The University of Arizona's Attention Detection and Medical Observation (ADAMO) Lab invites applications for the role of Laboratory Coordinator I. The ADAMO Lab is a visual perception lab focusing on visual search and medical image perception, such as how radiologists identify cancer signs in X-rays. This position involves administrative and operational tasks for lab management, including assisting with experiment coordination, design, and execution. Responsibilities include designing, modifying, and adapting programs and experiments to support research, planning and formulating procedures, and operating, calibrating, and performing checks on laboratory equipment like EEG systems, eye-tracking equipment, medical monitors, and general computer hardware. The lab is situated within the Departments of Psychology and Medical Imaging, with research exploring expertise and the impact of new search technologies on search performance. Research activities may necessitate travel, requiring candidates to obtain and maintain an active passport. Visa sponsorship is not provided.
