About The Position

The Cell Processing Specialist is responsible for the processing, isolation, and quality control analysis of human primary cells and biological samples in a laboratory environment. This role supports the production of high-quality cell-based products by performing laboratory procedures, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with established protocols, and contributing to a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about supporting scientific and healthcare advancements through laboratory operations.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree or higher in a life science or related scientific field
  • Minimum of one (1) year of laboratory experience in life sciences, biotech, healthcare, or related industry (training during degree program will be considered)
  • Previous manufacturing or production laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review production schedules and laboratory priorities
  • Process human blood samples through centrifugation and cell isolation procedures
  • Prepare reagents and buffers
  • Perform quality control on cell products
  • Ability to read, interpret, and communicate technical documents, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn laboratory processes and operate standard laboratory equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to accurately follow established procedures while meeting quality standards and project timelines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
