We are searching for a talented Laboratory Call Center Specialist to join our Outreach Lab team in Dartmouth, MA. This role is crucial in supporting our Laboratory Outreach Program by acting as a liaison to clients, patients, and providers.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Some knowledge of medical terminology or additional courses or training.
A minimum of one year of related work experience.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or provide a signed statement certifying exemption for medical or personal reasons upon hiring.

Responsibilities

Respond to and solve problems related to laboratory specimen procurement, test ordering, result delivery, and billing.
Provide support for all areas of the Laboratory, including hospital sites, pathology, SPG offices, Outreach Patient Service Centers, and the mobile outreach team.
Document and follow up on all patient and client-related activity.
Investigate and resolve work queue exceptions.
Participate in any Laboratory-related Quality events.
Maintain supplies.
Assist and provide coverage for appointment desk Call Center representatives.
