The position may be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results, ensuring the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred
• Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred
• May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy
• Collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens
• Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks
• Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies
• May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results
• Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment
