Laboratory Assistant - Straight Night/Weekends
About The Position

This role is part of the Night (United States of America) shift and is scheduled for 20 hours per week. The position is a non-union role within the Department Details Schedule: Straight Night Straight Weekends. Responsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens. The job description outlines assisting in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks, aiding in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. The role may be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.
- Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred.
- May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
