About The Position

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is dedicated to transforming the health care experience and providing access to world-class health care in America’s heartland. This is a 32-hour per week position with varied shifts between 0700-1530 and 0830-1700, including a half-hour lunch. One day off during the week is provided, with no weekend or holiday work required. The role involves assisting in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks, aiding in the preparation of laboratory specimens and supplies. The assistant may be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results, ensuring the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred.
• May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
