About The Position
The University of New Mexico, Center for Micro-Engineered Materials (CMEM) is seeking to hire an undergraduate student. The primary duties will focus on culture, purification, concentration, and characterization of intrinsically disordered proteins for experimental deployment. Other duties include general laboratory maintenance and upkeep, and assisting graduate students in data collection and interpretation across a variety of instruments and techniques.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree-seeking program at UNM at least half-time (6 hours) for Fall-Spring semesters (Audit hours do not count).
Nice To Haves
- Junior or Senior student
- Maintain a GPA above 3.0/4.0
Responsibilities
