About The Position

The role involves providing exceptional patient care, performing venipuncture on patients of all ages, collecting and preparing non-blood specimens, ensuring proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering, and championing safety, compliance, and quality control. The role will provide routine access to protected health information (PHI), requiring employees to maintain strict confidentiality and abide by all applicable privacy and security standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and data entry skills

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians

Responsibilities
