Laboratory Analyst (ICPMS) - Eurofins Environment Testing - Lancaster, PA
About The Position
The Analyst I prepares and analyzes environmental samples using standard analytical techniques in accordance with scientific and EPA methodologies, Eurofins Environment Testing America quality assurance programs, and standard operating procedures. The role performs routine laboratory work under close supervision using standard methods, including sample preparation, chemical analysis, calculations, data recording and reporting, routine instrument maintenance, and housekeeping. The analyst is responsible for following environmental, health and safety, and quality assurance standards and conducting all activities safely and efficiently. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in chemistry or a related field; three years of laboratory experience may substitute for the degree.

- Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
- Professional working proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write, and speak in English.

Responsibilities

- Calculate, record, and report data, including unusual test occurrences to the supervisor.

- Maintain general housekeeping in the work area.
- Become trained and competent on complex instrumentation and instrument-specific data systems.
- Aliquot and weigh samples.
- Wash glassware.
- Conduct activities safely and efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
