About The Position

Eurofins Environment Testing is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to join their Air Toxics team in Folsom, CA. This role involves preparing and analyzing environmental samples using standard analytical techniques and EPA methodology, adhering to Eurofins' Quality Assurance programs and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The analyst will work with GC/MS Volatiles testing and is expected to maintain accuracy, attention to detail, and effective communication in a fast-paced environment. The position also requires understanding and using the Air Toxics LIMS system and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science related field is required
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
  • Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
  • Strong sense of initiative, detail oriented with a hands-on approach
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately within a fast paced environment

  • The ability to safely handle and transport bulk chemicals such as cryogenic Dewars of liquid nitrogen, compressed gasses including helium, nitrogen and hydrogen, sharps and liquid solvents such as methylene chloride, acetonitrile and acetone.
