As a Laboratory Analyst – Technician, you will be responsible for performing tests on natural and synthetic minerals using physical and chemical methods. You will be an integral part of the technician team, assisting with sample logging and performing other tasks as assigned by the Laboratory Manager. This role involves close collaboration with production, research, and other team members across the company.

Requirements

Associate’s Degree in Laboratory Science.
3-5 years of experience.
Ability to perform laboratory tests to produce reliable and precise data.
Well organized and detail oriented.
Able to work well independently and within a team environment.
Good math skills.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
Ability to obtain government clearance upon hire, including U.S. citizenship and a background investigation.

Responsibilities

Perform testing on natural and synthetic minerals from internal and external sources using physical and chemical test procedures.
Assist in sample logging.
Perform additional tasks as directed by the Laboratory Manager.
Maintain accurate and complete records of analysis.
Perform calibration of equipment.
Maintain instruments.
Use instrumental analysis and wet chemistry methods as directed by the Laboratory Manager.
Work collaboratively in a manufacturing setting with other Laboratory team members.
