About The Position
The Labor Journeyman performs basic housekeeping on a construction site. This role involves a variety of tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment, assisting various trades and ensuring the site is well-organized. The company emphasizes safety, environmental care, and the well-being of all involved.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proof of certificates, degrees, etc. upon hire
- Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
- Willingness to work in high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations
- Ability to work in a team environment
Nice To Haves
- Construction experience preferred
- OSHA 10 hour certified recommended
Responsibilities
- Perform setup and clean up tasks at job site, including removal of construction debris
- Navigate construction job site terrain
- Clean & sanitize jobsite trailers
- Assist with basic deliveries & material storage
- Housekeeping interior and exterior project site
- Provide labor support as necessary for carpenters, masons, and other specialized contractors, work to be directed & planned by Foreperson
- Reporting all safety incidents & injuries to Foreperson and Safety Leader
- Any scope of work outside of they above listed, shall be planned, documented, and approved by Foreperson, Safety & Management
