About The Position

The Labor Journeyman performs basic housekeeping on construction site. Responsibilities include setup and clean up tasks at job site, including removal of construction debris, navigating construction job site terrain, cleaning and sanitizing jobsite trailers, assisting with basic deliveries and material storage, housekeeping interior and exterior project site, providing labor support as necessary for carpenters, masons, and other specialized contractors, and reporting all safety incidents and injuries to the Foreperson and Safety Leader. Any scope of work outside of the above listed shall be planned, documented, and approved by Foreperson, Safety & Management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Construction experience preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • OSHA 10 hour certified recommended
  • Proof of certificates, degrees, etc. upon hire
  • Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
  • Willingness to work in high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

  • OSHA 10 hour certified
