About The Position

iHeartMedia is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join its Labor & Employment legal department. This role will provide support to a team of five attorneys and one other paralegal, focusing on accurate document drafting, data management and reporting, and assisting with day-to-day operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual experienced in legal, human resources, and/or compliance functions who excels at creating and maintaining organized systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience supporting a legal department, with preference given to in-house experience and/or labor & employment experience.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree, and/or a Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams required).
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize competing tasks, work independently and exercise sound judgment.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Proactive and dependable, with strong follow-through and critical thinking.
  • Exercise discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Calm, focused, and reliable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain standardized templates for agreements.
  • Prepare a high volume of agreements primarily using templates, ensuring all documentation follows established formatting, accuracy, and version-control standards.
  • Draft professional correspondence, such as letters and notices with supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate secure delivery of documents internally and externally.
  • Assist in drafting and updating high-level employment contracts.
  • Work with the company’s HRIS system (Workday) and contract management system to track contract lifecycles and ensure timely renewals or terminations.
  • Communicate professionally with business leaders regarding contract terms and execution.
  • Organize and maintain internal case files.
  • Maintain calendar and track deadlines for litigation and administrative agency matters.
  • Assist with the review, redaction, and production of personnel records to third parties.
  • Securely transmit sensitive information internally and externally.
  • Coordinate with external counsel.
  • Prepare responses to audits, charges, and claims from opposing parties and upload same to government portals where applicable.
