About The Position

Scale LLP, a fully remote-work, national law firm, is looking for Labor & Employment specialists to join its growing national practice. Our firm is built for high-performing attorneys who want the freedom to shape and grow their practices, own their career path, and manage direct client relationships without the bureaucracy and overhead of traditional firms. We’re looking for senior attorneys (7+ years and up) who advise clients both large and small on labor & employment compliance, best practices, and litigation. Requirements

  • At least seven years’ experience at a national or regional law firm.
  • Graduated from a top-tier law school or be able to demonstrate an excellent and sustained reputation in the industry.
  • Existing clients and a strong professional network.
  • Ability to grow practice through BD efforts and by connecting with existing Scale client needs.
  • Ability to demonstrate a significant transferrable book of originations (for lateral partnership consideration).

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients both large and small on labor & employment compliance, best practices, and litigation.
  • Advise clients on municipal, state, and federal labor & employment laws.
  • Prepare companies for financing rounds, mergers and acquisitions, and initial public offerings from the labor & employment lens.
  • Represent clients in a variety of early-stage litigation matters, including claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, disability accommodation, wage-and-hour violations, etc.
