About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Labor & Delivery Nurse to join our dynamic team. This position requires expertise in managing labor and delivery processes for patients at 32 weeks and above. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to provide comprehensive care in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
- Current certifications required: RN, NRP, BLS, and ACLS.
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years of experience
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with EPIC systems.
Responsibilities
- Triage patients effectively, assessing their needs and determining the appropriate level of care.
- Circulate during cesarean sections and collaborate with physicians and midwives for optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage the labor and delivery process, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout.
- Provide post-delivery care for patients following both vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
