About The Position
Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to provide high-quality maternal and newborn care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Requirements
- Active RN license required
- Minimum 3 years recent Labor & Delivery experience required
- BLS certification required
- NRP certification required
Nice To Haves
- STABLE certification preferred
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
- Experience with GE/Centricity fetal monitoring preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for laboring and postpartum patients
- Assist physicians during labor and delivery procedures
- Monitor maternal and fetal conditions using fetal monitoring systems
- Provide newborn assessment and immediate post-delivery care
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Respond to maternal or fetal condition changes appropriately
- Educate patients and families regarding labor, recovery, and newborn care
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Participate in patient safety and quality initiatives
