About The Position

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide exceptional nursing care to laboring mothers, delivering personalized and patient-centered care throughout the childbirth process. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure positive birth outcomes and support the emotional and physical needs of patients and their families.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• 1 year of relevant labor and delivery experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Labor and Delivery nursing experience preferred.
• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs during labor and delivery.
• Assist in the delivery process and provide immediate postpartum care.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and interventions.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide skilled nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards.
