About The Position
The LaBlast® Instructor teaches LaBlast® classes at the Jim & Heather Gills YMCA in St. Petersburg, Florida. The role is part-time and pays $20.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications. The employee receives a free individual YMCA membership, with a discount for household family members. Employment requires passing a 10-panel drug screen and clearing a Level 2 background check through Florida DCF.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess current LaBlast® Instructor Certification.
- Strong interpersonal, listening, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions, and perceptions.
- Ability to build rapport, inspire, and relate well to others.
- Must pass a 10-panel drug screen.
- Must clear a Level 2 background check through Florida DCF.
