About The Position
The Jim & Heather Gills YMCA is seeking a LaBlast® Instructor to lead engaging and fun dance fitness classes. This part-time position offers competitive pay and a free YMCA membership for the employee, with discounts available for household family members. The role requires a certified instructor who can effectively engage with diverse participants and create a positive class environment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess current LaBlast® Instructor Certification.
- Strong interpersonal, listening, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions, and perceptions.
- Pass a 10-panel drug screen.
- Clear a Level 2 background check.
Responsibilities
- Lead LaBlast® dance fitness classes.
- Engage effectively with participants of varying backgrounds and abilities.
- Build rapport and inspire participants.
- Provide excellent customer service.
