This position is responsible for OMG/LEO machines throughout the shift. The role involves using measurement instruments to check work, making adjustments to machines, and notifying Tooling personnel for more complex adjustments. The associate will remove parts from the press and/or labeler, load and remove materials from the line, assist in changeover, and inspect parts. When necessary, they will perform duties similar to other production employees and packers, including packing plastic containers and eggs into sleeves/boxes or proper pallet configurations, and grinding scrap material. The position requires the ability to accurately read and operate the machine’s computer console, and is responsible for the overall continuing manufacturing process. Other duties include setting up and installing equipment as needed, daily housekeeping, completing all required paperwork, accurately entering production data into Insight, performing hourly retain rack checks, and monitoring product quality.
