About The Position

Avery Dennison’s Vestcom business unit is seeking a Machine Operator to join its production team. The operator is responsible for setting up and operating label machines efficiently, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring products meet high-quality standards. The role involves meeting daily production deadlines, accurately monitoring close tolerances, and recording materials and time in the ERP system. The operator is also expected to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. The starting hiring rate is $18 per hour, with an additional shift differential for night shifts. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered. Potential schedules include day and night shifts, each with two schedule options: Sunday through Tuesday plus part of Wednesday, or part of Wednesday plus Thursday through Saturday. Shifts run 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. for day schedules and 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. for night schedules, with the Wednesday portion varying according to the schedule.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
One to two years of related experience and/or training.
Strong mechanical skills to analyze and operate label machine equipment.
Ability to embody and reflect Vestcom’s core values.
