About The Position

Purity Dairies is hiring a Label Machine Operator for its Nashville facility. The role performs a range of equipment and machinery functions, including maintaining, breaking down, and setting up equipment, as well as troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. The posting also describes processing finished or raw materials, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), communicating effectively with all departments, and meeting daily deadlines.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., with Saturdays as needed. The position can pay up to $21.25 per hour. Purity Dairies is a farmer-owned brand of Dairy Farmers of America, a dairy marketing cooperative.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug, background, and criminal checks.
• Ability to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a wet environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as required and occasional weekends and holidays.
