About The Position

We are seeking a safety-minded team member with an attention to detail for a Label Clerk position on 1st shift (7A - 3P) in Montoursville, PA. Under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Operations Manager of Montoursville, this position is a multi-functional position responsible primarily for daily tasks relating label inventory (both on hand and to be printed). The position is responsible for assisting in printing/inventory and staging of labels to the quality standards outlined for each product/item number.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Basic Computer Skills required.
  • Ability to perform basic math.
  • Must demonstrate continual attention to detail and quality.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task competing tasks/assignments.
  • Ability to communicate with management and coworkers to meet departmental goals.
  • Ability to write (print) legibly on all documents.

Nice To Haves

  • Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities preferred.
  • Previous experience in Forklifting and/or manufacturing preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications including JDE, Excel, Word and Reports Now.

Responsibilities

  • Count/Tag and then put away pre-printed UPC’s and blanks that are printed at the Mark Andy Press.
  • Responsible for daily processing of returned UPC’s, inners/master’s from production.
  • Assist in printing UPC’s, inner and master labels when production need arises.
  • Assist in label work order schedule by producing work order tags specific to upcoming jobs that need printed in the Label area (weekly schedule).
  • Maintain label rack inventory space by organizing space for current/future designs. Also ensuring that partial rolls are pulled first for production runs.
  • Using production schedules-pull/stage upc’s for upcoming production runs on the pull shelves daily (or as needed).
  • Cycle counts.
  • Monday—complete weekly inventory of consumable items (approximately 10 total) ---then enter counts on spreadsheet for review by Warehouse Operations Manager
  • Bi-Monthly cycle counts---Participate in a cycle count every other month. There will be 6 Saturdays spread throughout the year to complete these counts. Schedule created at the start of the year.
  • Daily delivery of small parcel packages (I.E. Fed Ex, UPS) to the department that ordered them.
  • Data entry of receipts and relocation sheets in JDE.
  • Filing—completed weekly for department receipts and relocation sheets.
  • Forklift certification---Sit Down Rider Truck—to be able to move pallets of labels in and out of racks as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned by Warehouse Operations Manager.
