About The Position
This is a part-time position available as a Tutor in Industrial Maintenance and Electrical Technology, based on the semester system. The Tutor will be responsible for assisting students with their course and lab work, and supporting the Industrial Maintenance and Electrical Technology department. Duties include helping with lab setup and takedown, and ensuring lab safety requirements are met, as defined by The Technical College System of Georgia. Lab Tutor positions are appointed on a per academic term basis, with no expectation of continued employment beyond the term.
Requirements
- Minimum of completion of IDSY 1101 and 1105 with a grade of C or higher.
- Knowledge in Industrial/Electrical equipment and lab safety procedures.
Nice To Haves
- Associate Degree in a related field.
- Two years industry experience in a related field and/or relevant certifications.
Responsibilities
- Assisting students with their course and lab work.
- Assisting the Industrial Maintenance and Electrical Technology department.
