Lab Technologist - Generalist - Full Time
About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital is the singular source of care and caring for the 750,000 New Yorkers who live and work south of 14th Street. The full-time evening/mid-shift position is needed to serve as a Generalist for the laboratories. This position would rotate coverage between Blood Bank, Chemistry and Hematology, and also assisting to provide coverage for Microbiology testing. This is a full-time position, working Monday - Friday 4:00pm - 12:00am, with rotating holidays and weekends. Weekend shifts would take place 12:00pm - 8:00pm.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education department
- If pending a clinical laboratory technologist license - must obtain license within 6 months of hire
