Job Fair – Lab Technicians/Warehouse Needed (Thursday June 18th 2026 2026 6pm-8pm)
About The Position
ABB OPTICAL GROUP is hosting a JOB FAIR/OPEN HOUSE on Thursday June 18th from 6pm - 10pm at our Erlanger, KY location. Full time positions are available on first, second & third shift. As a Lab Technician, you will have the opportunity to train in multiple areas that fit your skill set. Some potential duties include operating state of the art CNC machinery, receiving incoming frames and orders, shipping lenses and frames, operating equipment in thin film coating processes, assembling frames using hand tools, learning processes for different lens types and manufacturers, learning quality control processes, working safely and quickly in a fast-paced environment, and learning job skills that last a lifetime and cross training in additional areas around the lab. Immediate Lab Technician openings are available for full time and part time. Overtime opportunities are available in most departments.
Requirements
- Be a team player with a positive attitude who strives to perform at your best daily.
- Have attention to detail, accuracy, repetition, and fine motor skills.
- Be able to stand for most of your shift and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach throughout your shift.
- Have the ability to occasionally lift up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities
- Become a machine operator and operate state of the art CNC machinery.
- Receive incoming frames and orders to start our manufacturing process.
- Ship lenses and frames to multiple locations across the United States.
- Operate state of the art equipment in thin film coating processes.
- Assemble multiple types of frames using hand tools.
- Learn multiple processes for different lens types and manufacturers.
- Learn quality control process.
- Work safely and quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Learn job skills that last a lifetime and cross train in additional areas around the lab.
