About The Position

Fertility Specialists of Texas (FST) is a leading fertility clinic known for our advanced treatments and compassionate, patient-centered approach. With high success rates and exceptional care, we provide services including fertility consultations, egg, sperm, and embryo freezing, IUI, and IVF. Our dedicated team supports patients every step of the way. We're looking for a precise, patient-focused Lab Technician to join our Andrology and Endocrinology team full-time at the Lubbock, TX location. In this role, your work sits at the intersection of science and compassionate care — preparing semen samples for male fertility diagnosis and IVF treatment, conducting hormone assays, and executing complex technical procedures with accuracy that directly impacts patient outcomes. Requirements

Bachelor's degree
Hands-on laboratory experience

Responsibilities

Performing semen analyses and sperm preparation for IUI and IVF/ICSI procedures
Conducting endocrinology testing
Managing reagents and inventory
Carrying out calibration, calibration verification, and linearity testing for the immunoanalyzer
Inputting control data into Biorad's Unitycare/QCNet
Generating monthly control reports
Performing cryopreservation and thawing of sperm samples
Coordinating the shipping and receiving of cryopreserved specimens
Maintaining rigorous daily, weekly, and monthly quality control standards across both labs
Greeting and rooming patients
Communicating results as directed
Flagging any abnormal parameters to the physician or laboratory director promptly
