About The Position

Stratas Foods LLC is seeking a Lab Technician to perform analytical testing of various vegetable oils using Stratas SOPs. This role involves testing samples at various stages, including production, inbound, and outbound truck and railcar samples. The technician will prioritize and test samples as they arrive, conduct taste tests for product evaluation, and perform line checks for packaging quality assurance. Communication with management regarding test results that indicate corrective action is necessary is crucial. The position requires timely completion of analytical testing and paperwork, as well as testing of finished products and incoming materials. Responsibilities also include performing cleaning and GMP inspections, learning new procedures, developing a thorough understanding of laboratory processes, attending training and safety meetings, and storing production retains. The technician will assist in other departments as needed and collaborate closely with onsite teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • H.S. diploma or bachelor’s degree
  • Three (3) years’ previous laboratory experience preferred
  • Basic data entry skills required

Responsibilities
