About The Position

Gallo's Analytical Services Lab team is hiring seasonal Lab Technicians for the 2024 season. In this role, you will perform routine physical and chemical analysis of grapes, grape products, alcoholic beverages, water, and other related materials. With the guidance of our experienced team, you will observe the department's safety practices, procedures, and quality system, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and excellence. This is an exciting seasonal opportunity in the world of analytical chemistry.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 3 years of Seasonal GALLO experience OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 3 years of experience in Seasonal or Lab Technician at a winery or vineyard.
Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Required to lift and carry cases of product that can weigh up to 50 pounds.
Required to maintain 3 shift availability (day, swing, and graveyard).
Required to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
Required to conduct work at extreme heights.
Required to be at least 21 years of age.
Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Required to be 18 years or older.
