We are looking for a Lab Technician to join our Metallurgical Lab team who perform a variety of testing to ensure our products meeting/exceeding industry/customer requirements.

Requirements

Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person.
English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension).

Nice To Haves

Saw cutting experiences highly desired.
Blueprint reading skills strongly preferred.
CNC machining and Forklift driving skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform hardness and conductivity testing on test materials.
Operate band saw to excise tensile blanks from test materials per internal and customer requirements.
Use CNC machine to turn test blanks into tensile specimens.
Perform tensile testing.
Perform metallography (sectioning, mounting, milling, polishing, etching, and rating).
Perform chemical analysis.
Assure quality requirements are met as per the job specific flow-downs.
Participate continuous improvement, LEAN manufacturing, 5S.
Perform other duties as instructed by the Lab Manager or Lead Tech.
