About The Position

Leach Tech is seeking a Lab Technician for a temp-to-hire position. This role involves performing pre and post-operation inspections, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, preparing and maintaining records, and handling rock and soil samples. The technician will also perform laboratory functions in accordance with company guidelines for safety, environmental compliance, and general work practices and procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, required.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds required
• Ability to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently with minimal supervision, required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform essential functions of the position, required

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• 1 years’ experience with analytical equipment preferably in a mining environment, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre and post operation inspections on assigned equipment and work areas.
• Maintain work area and equipment to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Prepare and maintain records according to job assignment.
• Preparation of rock and soil samples.
• Perform laboratory functions in accordance with company guidelines for safety, environmental compliance and general work practices and procedures.
