About The Position

This role involves assisting in the development of new analytical methods, performing quantitative metals analysis, preparing R&D blends, and running various laboratory tests. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining inventory and communicating effectively with project leads.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in Chemistry/Chemical Technology
• Wet chemistry experience (Flashpoint, titration, copper corrosion, ICP, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing new analytical methods such as flashpoint and titration
• Perform quantitative metals analysis of coolants and lubricant oils using ICP-OES
• Pull the materials and make R&D blends
• Run other non ASTM/in-house methods in lubricant labs as needed
• Maintain inventory using Sample Manager, Cispro and other in-house tracking systems
• Work with project leads daily and maintain effective communication
