About The Position

Deibel Laboratories, a private food testing facility specializing in Microbiology and Chemistry testing since 1967, is seeking a full-time Food Laboratory Technician and two temporary-to-hire Food Laboratory Technicians for its Twin Falls, ID location. This role is integral to food and product safety for various industry clients. The position involves performing testing procedures, entering data, and managing supplies, with comprehensive training provided for entry-level candidates.

Requirements

• Interest in learning basic knowledge of microbiology.
• Basic knowledge of personal computers.
• Planning skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Physical dexterity for manipulating samples.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform testing procedures and obtain accurate results.
• Enter testing data and results using personal computers.
• Maintain supplies of analysis materials.
• Ensure analysis is completed within a specified time.
• Manipulate samples with physical dexterity.
