About The Position

Deibel Laboratories, a private food testing facility specializing in Microbiology and Chemistry testing since 1967, is seeking a full-time Food Laboratory Technician for its lab location in Twin Falls, ID. The role involves providing services to industry-leading producers and family-run operations, playing an integral part in food and product safety. This is an entry-level position where training will be provided.

Requirements

• Interest in learning basic knowledge of microbiology.
• Basic knowledge of personal computers.
• Planning skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Physical dexterity for manipulating samples.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform testing procedures and obtain accurate results.
• Enter testing data and results using a personal computer.
• Maintain supplies of analysis materials.
• Ensure analysis is completed within a specified time.
• Manipulate samples with physical dexterity.
