Lab Technician I - Crop Science
About The Position
This role involves preparing samples for analysis according to SGS's analytical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) using basic instrumentation specific to the department and analytical methodologies. The technician will perform routine operation, maintenance, and calibration of preparation instruments and equipment. They will also input and maintain technical information to support laboratory functions and operations, and maintain a laboratory notebook where applicable. Compliance with SGS Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and adherence to ISO 17025 or Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Regulations are required. The position also includes performing other duties as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Must be compliant with SGS HSE policies and adhere to ISO 17025 or GLP Regulations.
- Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories
Responsibilities
