As a Lab Technician in the sample preparation department of our environmental testing laboratory, you will receive all the training needed to succeed and grow your career at Pace®.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves — all provided by Pace®)

Nice To Haves

• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred in a STEM field with chemistry credit hours and labs
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Support our Scientists by preparing water and soil samples prior to analysis
• Follow a variety of established sample preparation procedures
• Work with various solvents and chemicals for the preparation of samples
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases
