About The Position
This is a full-time, onsite, Lab Technician 1 position located in Pennsauken, NJ, Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Pace® is committed to making the world a safer, healthier place through innovative practices that drive sustainability and empower partners with accurate quality data. This role offers an opportunity to advance scientific work and build a career in environmental science. The Lab Technician will work in the sample preparation department of an environmental testing laboratory and will receive training for the role.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves — all provided by Pace®).
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
- Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
- Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.
