About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role performs chemical testing and analysis on hazardous and non-hazardous waste samples, interpreting analytical data to support proper classification, handling, and disposal processes. The Lab Tech will maintain accurate laboratory records, ensure documentation meets regulatory standards, and calibrate, clean, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments. This position also partners with operations and environmental teams to promote safe and compliant site practices.

Requirements

• Knowledge of laboratory practices, chemical analysis methods, and safety protocols.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform environmental and operational decisions.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Comfort working with laboratory equipment, systems, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities
