About The Position
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time CNA/Lab Tech to join our team at South Florida Reception Center located in Doral, Florida. The Lab Tech / CNA works under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. CNA/Lab tech 4am-12:30pm.
Requirements
- Phlebotomy certification
- Active FL CNA license
- Current CPR
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- One year experience in acute care, long term care, emergency or correctional setting
- Corrections experience not required
Responsibilities
- Perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals under the direction of nursing, medical, and psychiatric staff.
