About The Position
Meadowhawk Biolabs is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to serve as a Laboratory Support Associate III within the Lab Operations Department of Meadowhawk Biolabs, Inc. at our Hayward, CA location. This position provides applicants with a great opportunity to learn about Laboratory and Vivarium operations and help shape the group to allow Meadowhawk to grow. Our ideal candidate is driven, curious, and hardworking with a genuine interest in learning and working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. This is a full-time on-site position.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent and with at least four years of experience, preferably in the Life Sciences segment.
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered as substitution for the specific criteria outlined above.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Adapts readily, willingly, and effectively to changes in assignments and priorities.
- Able to multitask and independently manage time to maximize productivity.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Smartsheets is a plus
Responsibilities
- Study material and samples receipt, storage management, and disposition
- Consumables receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory management
- Biological and chemical waste collection, storage, and disposal
- Metrology organization, documentation and scheduling
- Maintain organization of laboratory and vivarium operational areas
- Other duties as assigned.
