May analyze, evaluate, and report patient results. May collect and transport patient specimens. Demonstrate behavioral skills that contribute to a productive work environment, represent the lab in a professional manner, and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age required.
  • High school education or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills required.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and flexibility required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in clinical laboratory medicine preferred.
  • Direct patient care experience or completion of Phlebotomy course or Phlebotomy experience preferred (dependent on area of responsibility).
  • Post-secondary education in a laboratory or health-related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Computer experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail preferred.
  • Ability to multitask preferred.
  • PBT (ASCP) depending on area of responsibility preferred.
