About The Position

The Hematology Supervisor provides day to day operational and technical leadership for the Hematology, Coagulation, and Urinalysis sections of a high complexity hospital laboratory. This role ensures high quality, timely, and compliant testing by supervising staff, maintaining regulatory standards, supporting continuous improvement, and collaborating closely with laboratory leadership, pathologists, and clinical partners. The supervisor serves as a technical and professional resource for staff while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related laboratory discipline
  • ASCP or equivalent national certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technologist
  • Three (3) years of clinical laboratory experience, with demonstrated expertise in Hematology and Coagulation
  • Previous leadership experience (supervisory, lead technologist, or equivalent) in a high complexity laboratory setting
  • Strong working knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and hospital laboratory regulatory requirements
