Lab Services Specialist, Phlebotomist - Waukesha South Big Bend Road Clinic - PRN As Needed
About The Position

Our Waukesha South, Big Bend Road Clinic is seeking a Lab Services Specialist / Phlebotomist to support patient care through high-quality specimen collection and lab support. The Big Bend Road Clinic serves a broad patient population, including children, adults, and families receiving care through primary care, pediatrics, urgent care, and lab services. In this role, you may support patients coming in for routine labs, follow-up testing, acute care needs, and ongoing health management. This PRN position requires a minimum commitment of 1 shift per week. We are looking for someone with flexibility to support Monday through Friday, 1st shift hours based on clinic needs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a formal phlebotomy program at a technical training school or equivalent experience ( 2 years)
- Previous phlebotomy experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work PRN Monday through Friday, 1st shift hours
Responsibilities
- Draw and obtain blood specimens through venipuncture and capillary collection
- Instruct patients on proper collection of non-blood specimens
- Support accurate specimen labeling, handling, and processing workflows
- Provide a calm, professional, and reassuring experience for patients
- Communicate clearly with providers, clinical staff, and lab team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lab environment
