About The Position

Orthodent Laboratory (ODL), part of the Specialty Appliances family, is a digital orthodontics and dental lab that offers doctors a full range of traditional appliances and digital solutions, providing orthodontists with a pathway to growth and clinical excellence. For more than 30 years, ODL has served orthodontists across the nation by combining exceptional quality with superior customer service. ODL is offering paid training to be a part of our team - this means no previous experience in a dental lab is needed or necessary to apply for this role. Our Lab / Production Techs hand-craft top-quality dental appliances for our Orthodontist and Dentist customers in order to serve their patients’ needs. This is done through a combination of advanced processes and materials, including CAD/CAM design, 3D printing of resin and metal, wire bending, and fabrication of highly specialized acrylics and metal alloys. All of this is done in our beautiful and new lab production facility located on Chandler Street in Buffalo, NY, which provides our employees a clean, open, naturally lit, and overall pleasant work environment to thrive within.

Requirements

  • Ability to recognize differences in color and shape.

Responsibilities

  • Hand-craft top-quality dental appliances for Orthodontist and Dentist customers.
  • Collaborate with dental professionals to create industry-leading quality appliances.
  • Utilize advanced processes and materials including CAD/CAM design, 3D printing of resin and metal, wire bending, and fabrication of highly specialized acrylics and metal alloys.
