About The Position
We are currently looking to hire a Lab PC support engineer to join our Lab IT services at the client site. The engineer will have experience of successfully deploying IT projects in pharmaceutical GxP Lab environments.
Requirements
- Experience working in pharmaceutical QC Lab environment, 2-3 years
- Experience Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer hardware, operating systems, applications, and network issues in a GxP and non GxP environment.
- 3-5 years
Nice To Haves
- Recent Microsoft, CompTIA or ITIL certifications
Responsibilities
- Understand System Requirements
- Design system solution consistent with Gilead Sciences Standards
- Install and Configure Applications per specifications
- Manage platform upgrades
- Author requirements documents (e.g., user, functional)
- Contribute to configuration specifications
- Author server Technical Requirements Specification
- Author / Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Contribute to testing procedures
- Assist with Script Execution
- Author Change Request (CR)
- Procure and build hardware
- Image and deploy systems
- Decommissioning
- Resolve issues escalated by sustain support desk.
